Da Lat Airport Closure
Temporary Closure of Liên Khương Airport: A Boost to Cam Ranh Connections.
As of June 3, the Xuân Hương - Đà Lạt (Lâm Đồng) area has seen a temporary halt in the operations of Liên Khương Airport due to upgrade and maintenance work. According to Thanh Niên, this move is expected to enhance the connection between Lâm Đồng and Khánh Hòa provinces through Cam Ranh. The program aims to increase cooperation in tourism, trade, and investment between the two provinces.
With over 120 participants, including businesses and organizations in the tourism, trade, and investment sectors, the event marks a significant effort to strengthen ties between the regions. As a local, it's exciting to see such initiatives that can potentially boost our local economy and attract more visitors to our beautiful city. The temporary closure of Liên Khương Airport has reportedly led to an increase in flights to Cam Ranh, with Vietnam Airlines planning to operate six daily flights from Đà Lạt to major cities like Hà Nội, TP.HCM, and Đà Nẵng using Airbus A321 aircraft.
As stated by Nguyễn Quang Trung, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines, the airline is ready to resume operations as soon as the airport reopens, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience for passengers. The reopening of Liên Khương Airport is scheduled to take place soon, with the exact date announced by the Tổng công ty Cảng hàng không Việt Nam.
This development is crucial for our community, as it will not only enhance connectivity but also contribute to the growth of our local tourism industry. As a resident of Đà Lạt, I'm eager to see the positive impact this will have on our city and its people.
