Da Lat's Tet Flower Market
As the Lunar New Year approaches, Da Lat's flower market is bustling with activity.
According to sources, local farmers are busy tending to their flowers to meet the high demand for the upcoming Tet holiday. At Thai Phien flower village, located in the heart of Da Lat, farmers are working tirelessly to ensure their flowers are ready for the festive season. Anh Tran Nhat Khanh, a local farmer, shared that despite the challenges posed by the weather, he is optimistic about the upcoming season.
'The weather has been quite unpredictable, but we are doing our best to ensure our flowers are of the highest quality,' he said. Da Lat's flower market is renowned for its beautiful and diverse range of flowers, including lilies and cucumbers. The city's cool climate and rich soil make it an ideal place for flower cultivation, and many farmers rely on the Tet holiday to sell their produce.
However, some farmers have expressed concerns about the current market prices, which they claim are too low. Anh Tran Nhat Khanh noted that the price of flowers has dropped significantly, making it challenging for farmers to make a profit.
Despite these challenges, the people of Da Lat remain optimistic about the upcoming Tet holiday and the opportunities it brings for the local flower market. As the city prepares to welcome the new year, the streets will be filled with the vibrant colors and sweet fragrances of Da Lat's famous flowers.
