Lâm Đồng Prepares
In a move that is set to impact the local tourism industry, Liên Khương Airport in Lâm Đồng Province will be closed for repairs starting from March 4th.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lâm Đồng, this closure is a necessary step to upgrade the airport's infrastructure. However, with nearly 1 million passengers affected by the closure, the question on everyone's mind is: how will tourists get to Lâm Đồng? As a local, I can attest that the airport is a vital gateway to our beautiful city, with 34 flights per day connecting us to major hubs like TP.HCM, Hà Nội, and Đà Nẵng.
The closure will undoubtedly put a strain on the local economy, with many businesses relying on the influx of tourists to stay afloat. The local government has assured us that they are working on a contingency plan to minimize the disruption, but for now, it's a waiting game. As we wait for the airport to reopen, we can't help but wonder what the future holds for our beloved city.
Will we see a surge in domestic tourism, or will the closure have a lasting impact on our local businesses? Only time will tell. For now, we can only hope that the repairs are completed quickly and efficiently, and that our city can get back to doing what it does best: welcoming tourists with open arms.
