Discounted Tickets to Đà Lạt’s Historic Train Station Now Available

Starting from April 30, Đà Lạt’s historic train station is offering a new ticketing system that cuts the cost of visiting the iconic landmark by nearly half. According to Thanh Niên, the ‘Tham Quan Đà Nẵng’ initiative aims to make the experience more accessible and flexible for both tourists and local groups. This move is especially welcomed by families, tour groups, and businesses that frequently organize visits to the station, which is a cornerstone of Đà Lạt’s colonial-era architecture and a symbol of the city's rich heritage.

The station, which houses the original steam engine and wooden carriages from the French colonial period, is now offering 100 tickets at a flat rate of 2.5 million VND, translating to just 25,000 VND per ticket. This is a significant discount compared to the current ticket prices. The initiative is valid for six months from its launch date, allowing for greater flexibility in planning visits.

For many locals, the station is more than just a tourist spot—it’s a piece of Đà Lạt’s soul. ‘It reminds us of the city’s past and the stories of those who built it,’ said one local historian. The new ticket system is expected to increase foot traffic to the area, bringing more life to the surrounding streets like Phan Đình Phùng and Bùi Thị Xuân, which are already popular with both residents and visitors.
