Da Lat Expressway
In a significant development for the region, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province has reportedly submitted a proposal to the Prime Minister for a high-speed expressway connecting Nha Trang to Da Lat, with an estimated investment of 25,000 billion VND.
According to sources, this project is considered a national priority and falls under the authority of the National Assembly for decision-making. The proposed expressway would span approximately 99 km, with the Nha Trang - Da Lat section covering around 80.8 km and the Da Lat - Lien Khuong section covering about 18.2 km. As a local journalist in Da Lat, I can attest that this project has been eagerly anticipated by the community, who believe it will greatly enhance connectivity and boost tourism in the area.
The expressway is expected to intersect with the North-South expressway at the Dien Thuy intersection in Khanh Hoa, and ultimately connect to National Route 27C and the Huynh Thuc Khang street. This project is a game-changer for Da Lat, as it will not only reduce travel time but also increase accessibility to our beautiful city. As the proposal is currently under review, we can only hope that it will be approved soon, bringing new opportunities for growth and development to our beloved Da Lat.
