As the four-day holiday from April 30 to May 1 reached its final day, traffic enforcement in Da Lat and surrounding areas became more rigorous. According to local sources, hundreds of vehicles were caught and fined for traffic violations on the highways. This comes as the city experiences a surge in visitors, with many opting for road trips to the scenic highlands.

The Department of Traffic Police reported that on May 2 alone, approximately 400 violations were recorded across the highways. These included 49 passenger vehicles, 48 trucks, 284 private cars, and 19 container trucks. The numbers highlight the increasing pressure on traffic management during peak travel times.
