Dalat’s artistic soul is shining this week as the Dalat Dreams Art Week officially kicks off on April 1st at the Dalat Cultural Arts Center. This year’s event promises a vibrant celebration of creativity, featuring over 340 artistic works across a wide range of genres, from photography and painting to music and theater. The opening ceremony, hosted by the Lam Dong Cultural Arts Association and the Center for Cultural Arts, was led by Mr. Nguyen Hoa Huy, President of the Lam Dong Cultural Arts Association, who expressed his excitement about the event’s potential to bring Dalat’s cultural heritage to the forefront.
Art as a Reflection of Dalat’s Identity
According to Mr. Huy, the event aims to highlight the unique cultural identity of Dalat, a city known for its lush landscapes and artistic legacy. 'This is not just an art show,' he said. 'It’s a tribute to the spirit of Dalat — a city where art and nature coexist in harmony.' The exhibition will take place across several iconic venues, including the Dalat Museum (Hoang Binh area), the Lam Dong Provincial Cultural Center (Dinh Thanh Truong), and the 3rd April Cinema, among others.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of renowned Vietnamese singer Thu Minh, who performed a heartfelt rendition of her hit songs, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd.
