Đà Lạt's Mai Anh Đào Put On Their Most Spectacular Show Yet
A Season Worth the Wait

Sometimes the best things come to those who wait, and 2026's mai anh đào season in Đà Lạt proved exactly that. After a fashionably late arrival, our beloved cherry blossoms burst into the most breathtaking display many longtime residents say they've ever witnessed.
By late January, every corner of our mountain city was awash in the softest pink you could imagine. Walking through the misty morning streets felt like stepping into a living watercolor painting. The trees, perhaps saving up their energy, delivered a performance that had both tourists and locals stopping mid-stride to simply stare.
Festival Magic in Full Bloom
The Da Lat Cherry Blossom Festival (January 16 to February 5) captured this magic perfectly. Ho Tung Mau Street transformed into a vibrant celebration of local culture, with OCOP markets showcasing everything from Đà Lạt's famous strawberry wine to handwoven scarves that local artisans create during our cool evenings.
Children's giggles echoed through the streets as young artists tried to capture the blossoms' beauty in their paintings. The closing concert at our historic train station was particularly special – there's something about mai anh đào petals drifting down while traditional music plays that touches your soul.
Where the Magic Happened

Cau Dat offered the most Instagram-worthy views, but honestly, some of my favorite moments were the quiet discoveries – a single tree perfectly framed against the lake at Tuyen Lam, or the surprising burst of pink tucked into the Cam Ly area that caught even seasoned flower-hunters off guard.
Lang Biang provided that panoramic wow factor, where you could see the pink patches scattered across the valley like nature's own confetti.
Now, as green leaves begin to unfurl, we're already dreaming of next year's show. But those few precious weeks? Pure Đà Lạt magic.
