Suggested contribution / 150,000 VND Pho Ben Doi is honored to partner with Guitar Saigon to organize the “Ouverture de Guitare – Dalat 2026” concert at 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026, together raising the first notes of the new year, opening an inspiring musical journey in the heart of the highland city. “Ouverture” – the opening piece in classical music – is chosen as a symbol of the beginning of a new year, with new creations, and of the continuation of the classical guitar tradition in Vietnam. In the cool, poetic atmosphere of Dalat – UNESCO's City of Music – the sound of the guitar will create an intimate and empathetic chamber music experience for the audience. The concert brings together guitar artists and instructors from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. Ho Chi Minh City: Thanh Huy, Phuong Thu, Quang Nghia, Hong Ha, Quang Huy, Ngoc Nien, and pianist Nguyet Sa. These are lecturers who have been involved in training, performing, and developing classical guitar art at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music for many years. The program holds special significance as it commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Classical Guitar Department – Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music.
