14-Year-Old Student Missing After Tutoring Class in Đà Lạt
Local Family Seeks Help Finding Missing Teenager
A 14-year-old student from Lâm Viên Ward has been missing since Tuesday evening after attending an extra tutoring session on busy Hùng Vương Street, prompting an urgent search effort across Đà Lạt.
According to Tuổi Trẻ, Trương Minh Bảo Yến, an 8th-grade student at Phan Chu Trinh Middle School in Xuân Hương Ward, was dropped off for tutoring around 5:00 PM on April 1st. When her family returned to pick her up at 6:45 PM, she was nowhere to be found and couldn't be reached by phone.
"Before this, some friends who had dropped out of school tried to persuade her to go out with them, but the family discovered this and brought her home," her mother, Lê Thị Hồng Trang, told the newspaper. "This time she left home without taking her phone, so we can't contact her. Before losing contact, her psychological state was normal."
Search Efforts Underway
The family has filed reports with police in both Lâm Viên and Xuân Hương wards. Officers are currently reviewing security camera footage along various routes throughout the city to trace the teenager's movements.
Bảo Yến's homeroom teacher, Lê Vũ Tú Anh, described her as a student who had been making academic progress and recently scored well on exams. "There were no signs of psychological abnormalities or academic pressure," the teacher said, adding that school officials are cooperating with authorities and the family in the search.

The missing teenager is described as approximately 1.62 meters tall, weighing 44 kilograms, with long hair. When she disappeared, she was wearing a black jacket with two white rabbit ears, gray pants, and black sandals. She was carrying a brown backpack and riding a blue electric bicycle.
