Korean Symphony Orchestra to Perform at Hòa Bình Theater
International Music Exchange Comes to Đà Lạt
The historic Hòa Bình Theater will soon echo with the sounds of international classical music as a Korean symphony orchestra prepares to take the stage on March 21st. According to the Lâm Đồng Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this special performance represents a significant milestone in Đà Lạt's growing reputation as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.
The concert, organized through a cultural exchange program between Đà Lạt and Daegu City, South Korea, will feature five distinguished artists from the Daegu International Symphony Orchestra. Korean performers include cellist Kim Yujin, violinist Koo Jieun, trumpeter Kim Yong Su, soprano Kim Taein, and baritone Ahn Sungkook.
Local Artists Join International Collaboration
What makes this evening particularly special is the collaboration between Korean and Vietnamese musicians. Four local artists will share the stage, including renowned pianist Nguyễn Đức Anh, who has become a familiar face at classical music events around our city. He'll be joined by violist Phạm Vũ Thiên Bảo, violinist Lê Minh Hiền, and pianist Ju Sun Young—a Korean artist who teaches at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory and has made Vietnam her long-term home.
