Nha Trang to Đà Lạt in 1.5 Hours
In a significant development for our city, Đà Lạt is set to become even more accessible with the planned construction of a high-speed road connecting it to Nha Trang.
According to Tuổi Trẻ, the People's Council of Khánh Hòa Province has approved a resolution to invest in the Nha Trang - Đà Lạt expressway project, which is expected to reduce travel time between the two cities to just 1.5 - 2 hours. As a local, I can attest that the current route, which winds through the đèo Khánh Lê, can be treacherous, especially during the rainy season. The new expressway will not only improve safety but also boost tourism and economic growth in our region.
The project, which will be implemented under the public-private partnership (PPP) model, is slated to begin in 2026 and be completed by 2030. With a total investment of approximately 25,058 billion đồng, this project is a game-changer for Đà Lạt and its residents.
As Đà Lạt continues to grow as a popular tourist destination, this new expressway will make it easier for visitors to experience all that our city has to offer, from its stunning natural beauty to its vibrant cultural scene. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on our community.
