Education Programs Lead University Admissions in the Highland City
Dalat University has announced its admission floor scores for the upcoming academic year, with education programs setting the highest bar across all faculties, according to Thanh Niên newspaper.
Four education majors have established identical floor scores of 21 points based on high school graduation exam results: Mathematics Education, Literature Education, English Education, and Primary Education. These programs also require academic performance scores of 24 points or higher, while competency assessment scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University must reach at least 800 points.
Technical Fields Offer More Accessible Entry Points
For students interested in technical and technology fields, the university has set more moderate admission requirements. Engineering and technology programs typically range from 16 to 17 points, making them accessible to a broader range of applicants.
Specific programs including Information Technology, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, Environmental Engineering Technology, Business Administration, and Accounting maintain floor scores around 17 points for high school graduates or 650 points for competency assessments.
Opportunities for Diverse Academic Backgrounds
While education programs maintain high standards reflecting the city's commitment to quality teaching, university officials have also announced several programs with lower floor scores, creating opportunities for students with varying academic backgrounds.
